Me too - I am now on Etsy

Image
I am loving the fact that Etsy provides an opportunity for all of us who love to craft to share and sell our creations in an easy way. It also makes it possible for us to connect and to find those unique items made by others. Children's blue triangular fleece and brushed cotton scarf with helicopters and airplanes So far, I have only listed one item, and at a higher price than I really expect anyone to be prepared to pay. I am using this listing as an experiment and learning curve, whilst I read more about how to be successful on Etsy. My intention is to slowly increase the number of items available in the shop. When I make something for myself, the kids, for charity or to give away as gifts; I am planning on making one or two extra items which I'll then offer for sale via Etsy. If there is anything you have seen on my blog, which you'd like to buy, please let me know and I'll see what I can do! Etsy:  Sewn, quilted and crafted by BossyOz, http://www.etsy.c

Vintage fabric - bag, dribble bib and hook

Image
This vintage fabric was a donation and I decided to create some items which we can sell at the charity Christmas Fair. The little hook is great for little hands to hold and shake (bell inside!).

Christmas bunting for charity

Image
I know it is August, but it is already time to prepare for the annual charity Christmas Fair in November.   I am really struggling to find inspiration, and there are so many other things I like to do before Baby 3 arrives. I have however managed to "help" the local fabric shop to get rid of some of the Christmas fabrics from last year... A definite win-win as they gave me a rather good price. Thanks!

Fleece hats with dinosaur spikes

Image
Just realised I hadn't actually blogged these versions of the fleece hats, which I made last winter.  The stripy one has no spikes, whereas the other ones have plenty of dinosaur spikes in varying sizes. All very popular with the kids in the local area!

Pillow case refashion

Image
Resized a pillow case to fit the pillow we are using for DS.  It is not as crooked in real life as it looks in the photo..
