Father Christmas must be crafty....and extremely generous

Bean bag made out of scrap fabric

Digging through my photos from last year, I came across these and smiled when I remembered how excited he got when I gave him the bean bag! What better than using lots of scrap fabric and making the little one happy at the same time! 

Fat cute cuddly rabbit

This is one of many cuddly stuffed rabbits that I have made to small people. It has been an extremely useful newborn and Christening gift throughout the years. Normally I embroider the eyes, but it seems that I took the photo a little bit too early...

New fabric...

The intention was to buy some jersey fabric with hedgehogs and elephants, but unfortunately neither is in stock any longer. Instead the "courier" found some other lovely fabrics: rather large hedgehogs on purple fleece, dachshunds on brown jersey, roses on black jersey and multicoloured fleece stripes and ditto jersey stripes.

Sewing with the Grannies equals sherry

As a THANK YOU for all contributions to the Christmas Fair, we were treated to some sherry and canapés at the church today. I was probably the only one in the room that had never before tasted sherry; but then on the other hand the others have all had a few more years to try things... As not all of my child related items sold, I have been given them back. Great, as I now have some ready-made Christmas presents! Some of them may be added to the " For Sale " page as soon as I have taken some photos.
