Changing mats, one wipeable one washable

With number two on the way, I made these extra changing mats to have in the kitchen, in the pram and in the change bag; one can never have too many location for nappy changing!

Two have fleece, the other one uses curtain interfacing (just because that's what I had at home) as padding.

The large plastic one is so well used now, that some of the plastic has actually work off where the changing actually takes place; that should teach me from using a cheap plastic table cloth instead of proper pvc / wipeable fabric :-(

Vad är det för sorts tyg på den avtorkingsbara? Har tänkt att jag nog vill ha nåt sånt här. Jag brukar ha en handduk med men något sånt här är bättre!

Vaxduk. IKEA har en med stora prickar som är mjuk och fin att sy.

The work with the pall for the Swedish Church in London is progressing, slowly. I published a photo of the middle section, the road, in October ( click for entry ). At the moment we are working on the four areas around the road, each representing a season. As everything is hand sewn it is a rather slow process, but great fun! Our latest thinking is that we should try to focus the summer season on blue, yellow and red to make sure they all match each other. Some of the "flowers" in the picture above has therefore been moved to other seasons or been put in the "perhaps" pile.
