Wetwipes cover - TUTORIAL
This cover fits UK standard packs of soft packs of baby wipes., e.g. the Pampers packs with 56 wipes.
Approx finished size is 18 x 11 x 3 cm (7 1/4 x 4 1/4 x 2 1/4 inch)

Start with cutting a piece of fabric 33x25 cm (approx 13x10 inch)
Mark 2.5 cm (1 inch) in from each side. The distance between the two lines should be 28 cm (11 inch)
Fold the fabric over once to the line.
Then fold again, so the line lies at the outside of the new rectangle. Stitch in place. Repeat for the other end.
The rectangle should now measure 28 cm wide (it was 33 cm), and still be 25 cm tall.
Mark the middle of the rectangle, i.e. 14 cm (5 1/2 inch) from the edges.
Fold one edge towards the middle.
Turn the cover around so the right sides are facing. Make sure you push out the corners properly, either with a finger nail or a sharpish object.
Measure the cover to ensure that you can stitch the two next seams close to the edges, but still covering the seam allowance from the previous step, and making sure the distance between them are 21 cm (8 1/4 inch). Stitch both ends, adding a few extra stitches at the opening slots to add extra strength.
As I have striped fabric, the location of the seams were easy to remember, but you may like to mark the stitching lines. If you check the picture closely, you can probably see my two seams approx 21 cm apart.
To give the cover some volume, stitch off each corner. I like to push the fabric downwards, i.e. away from the opening. Pin as in picture.
Stitch each of the four corners as shown. My seams are approx 2 cm each, but the size if not that crucial.
All four corners done.
And from the top.
Time to turn the cover and add a pack of wet wipes.
Done!
